With the desire to improve the quality and bring Vietnam’s mineral resources to the world in a reasonable and convenient way, in 2019 Tungsten Vietnam Joint Stock Company was established. The company currently has a Sodium Tungstate (ST) Processing Factory in Song Cong 1 Industrial Park, Thai Nguyen Province, owning a prime central location, convenient transportation near Highway 3 and Thai Nguyen – Hanoi Highway.
The factory operates with modern and advanced technical technology, maximizing the recovery of finished products up to 98%. Thanks to the optimal production line, the factory can minimize waste and product no waste water, contributing to environmental protection in the industrial park in particular and Vietnam in general.
Raw materials: Domestic and foreign companies wishing to process Tungsten will assign the factory to process and create finished ST products. The main raw material used is standard wolframite, based on production criteria, scheelite can be added in appropriate proportions.
The resulting product will be Sodium Tungstate (ST) salt with WO3 content ≥68%.
Tungsten Vietnam Joint Stock Company aims to become the factory with the most effective Sodium Tungstate processing production line in Vietnam, making optimal use of the exploited tungsten resources, avoiding waste and contributing to environmental protection, national resources protection.
In the next 5 years, the factory will install more production lines to recover Tungsten from discarded scrap, with a high recovery rate of Tungsten and reduce waste to the environment.
Tungsten Vietnam JSC commits:
1. Support the aims and objectives of U.S legislation and OECD guideline for the Supply Chain of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High Risk Areas.
2. Not procure materials that originated form “Conflict regions” that are not proven as “Conflict free”
3. Support and encourage suppliers to undertake due diligence within their supply chain to ensure their materials meet our above commitments.
4. Continue to develop and maintain our control system to ensure company strong management system and identification of risks in the supply chain and timely response to identify risks.

Tungsten Vietnam JSC is conformant with the Assessment Standard for Tungsten (2017) by Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) on September 19th, 2022.
